We’re looking for an experienced, French speaking sales focused manager to further develop JGH Group’s business in West Africa.

The position

The International Business Manager will join JGH Group’s successful and expanding Project Department with reference to the CEO.

You will be responsible for developing JGH Group’s business in West Africa, and with the expected growth; you will build your own team.

The main responsibility is to service and develop project business with existing and new customers in West Africa.

The typical tasks include:

  • Bottom Line responsibility for own projects
  • Handling preparation and bid submission of tenders mostly for African Market (Sub-Sahara)
  • Managing and performing multiple cross-functions such as sales, procurement and logistics
  • Executing different tasks related to field project execution
  • Prospecting of new projects and business partners across West Africa, with emphasis on French speaking countries


The travelling activity is mostly to Africa, Asia and Middle East, and is expected to be minimum 40-80 days annually.

The ideal candidate

You come with several years of experience from project business, where you have taken on sales, purchasing or project management roles, perhaps even a combination. You are strong in the dialogue and negotiation with customers and suppliers, so that you compose, optimize and price your project so that it wins the job profitably.

You are used to doing business internationally in French and English, perhaps even with experience from Sub-Saharan Africa markets. If you master other languages, such as Chinese or Spanish, this is just a plus.

You are well-organized and with strong attention to detail as required to run a profitable and successful project business. You therefore also master MS Office / Excel at an advanced level.

Furthermore, you are robust, a team player, accountable and able to work independently combined with high self-motivation.
