For one of the World’s leading security risk intelligence companies; we are looking for a Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Analyst with focus on security risks and their impact on global supply chains for private and government clients.

The MENA analyst will contribute to a broad range of analysis products in order to assist clients in making informed business decisions.
The analyst will take responsibility for specific geographic locations and monitor various threats that have the potential to disrupt clients’ supply chains or operations – both maritime and land based. Responsibilities including writing and updating threat assessments on a defined range of MENA countries on an ongoing basis, contributing to bespoke and client specific reports, and responding to client queries. There will also be opportunities to assist in the development of new products for clients, and to contribute to the expertise of the analyst team by improving analytical methodologies and information gathering.
The responsibilities of the analyst will vary in time and be at different levels of complexity depending on background, skills and experience.
The ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum holding a master’s degree, preferably from fields relating to Political Science/International Relations/security/intelligence etc. and/or equivalent work experience/training within the security and intelligence field
- 2-4 years of relevant analysis experience, preferably within the fields of security threats on an operational level
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Reading and listening proficiency in Arabic and/or French
- Prior knowledge of the socio-economic and geo-political dynamics in the broader MENA region, preferably through living in the region or relevant studies with in-region experience
- Effective in time management with a strong ability to prioritize
- Capable of taking a holistic perspective without losing attention to details
- Hold or be able to obtain an EU work permit
As a person, you should be social, outgoing and communicative to match the working environment in Risk Intelligence, able to work in a team environment with other analysts, and also be comfortable with building relationships with other Risk Intelligence employees who are working in locations outside of the main office.
To ensure your successful entry into this role, you will undergo a thorough onboarding program.
You will be working as part of the analyst team at the Risk Intelligence headquarters in Hellerup, just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. Some overseas travel is expected as a part of the analyst position.
Reporting up to:
The analyst will refer directly to Head of Intelligence Analysis based in Vancouver, Canada. This demands the candidate to be flexible on timings for work-related discussions and communicating.
