acadon AG has successfully expanded across Europe with their unique acadon_timber module for Microsoft® Dynamics 365 Business Central targeted for the timber and construction material industries.

Now they are looking for a Sales Manager to lead their expansion into the Nordic markets.

They have established themselves as the leading ERP solution partner for the timber industry, where their solution acadon_timber helps timber producers, importers, wholesalers, and retailers with their daily operations across Europe. The solution is built on Microsoft Business Central, thus optimized to integrate with other Microsoft solutions. The use of acadon_timber saves time, increases transparency, and offers a platform for continuous improvement of processes.

acadon AG experiences solid growth and their more than 130 employees advise customers from seven locations throughout Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Austria – and soon also in the Nordics.

The position

As acadon’s Sales Manager in the Nordics, you will be responsible for all sales activities towards the timber industry covering producers, importers, wholesalers, and retailers in the region.

After a good introduction to acadon, you will map the market and identify your potential customers and approach them to present and sell the acadon_timber solution.

The implementation will be taken care off by the acadon implementation team, but you are expected to support the implementation on the commercial side to ensure customer satisfaction.

With the expected success, the longer-term plan is to establish an acadon office in the region with opportunities for increased responsibility for you.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.

You have a good understanding of the processes in the timber industry, probably from a sales role, where you have also built up a good network in the industry.

To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter and an entrepreneur as it all depends on you and your effort.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must, as you will communicating with customers and colleagues of different nationalities.
