The Position

As the CFO at Wheat, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic goals alongside the CEO and management team. We are looking for an experienced CFO who can help us continue our digitalization and automation efforts, as well as be a strong partner across the organization.

The new CFO will be a central part of the leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing the financial function as a proactive business partner for the group. The CFO will ensure financial reporting, forecasting, and the development of business-supporting controlling functions. This role requires a strategic, tactical, and operational approach to ensure growth and efficiency across the company’s various brands.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop the financial function as a proactive business partner for the group, including digitalization and data utilization.

– Proactively support the management and business units, particularly in relation to channel strategies.

– Lead and develop the financial function’s employees.

– Financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for the executive team and board.

– Development of controlling functions and follow-up on strategic initiatives and business cases.

– Optimize company structures across the world for cost and tax optimization

– Responsibility for Finance, IT (System Responsibility), HR, Business Controlling, and Facilities (offices, cafeteria, cars, etc.).

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a strategic and operationally minded CFO with the following qualifications:

– Proven results from similar roles within wholesale, retail, and online channels.

– Extensive experience with digitalization and business development.

– Genuine and strong leadership skills.

– Strategic, execution-oriented, and business-focused.

– Strong communication and collaboration skills.

– Well-developed social competence.

– A financial education (cand.merc., cand.oecon., HD-R) and several years of experience in finance and business development within a corporate structure.

Reference

The CFO reports directly to the CEO.
