For our office in Oslo, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Head of Investor Projects.

who is located in Copenhagen.

 

Role Purpose

As Head of Investor Projects, you will be responsible for building up the Norwegian team and CBRE’s

business within Advisory and Project Management, and you will be providing services primarily to property

investors. With your good networking skills, this role offers a unique opportunity to build up the Norwegian

area within investor project management as well as hands-on project management. The outlook is

promising. Here you will broaden your skill into developing commercial property with exposure to clients and

influencers alike.

You will be directly involved in building up the area with the delivery of high-profile projects in the Nordic

region, and you’ll be given full responsibility for your own projects and business development.

 

Key Responsibilities for Head of Investor Projects:

Develop, lead and manage the Project Management team in Investor services, ensuring its business

profitability and supporting career growth.

Drive the growth of the Project Management Investor business and work on operational growth in

line with business objectives provided by the Head of Project Management Nordic.

Take a joint responsibility together with Head of Project Management Nordic, for generating strategic

market share expansion by identifying business opportunities, work to create a sales pipeline to

deliver revenue to the business unit with full accountability on the business line P&L

Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities.

Develop our key offering materials, services, and tools aligned with the current and future client

requirements.

Keep abreast of changes in legislation, best practice, and wider trends and priorities to ensure the

ongoing provision of best in sector advise and thought leadership.

Look for opportunities to bring and build value, delivering client solutions that exceed expectations,

and identifying and delivering opportunities to cross-sell other CBRE service lines.

Maintains and applies a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions

are financially sound and responsible. Identifies cost effective approaches.

Provide pipeline and secured revenues on a monthly basis to Head of Project Management Nordic,

agree on a communication stream to make sure revenues and pipeline gets reported correctly.

(Head of Project Management Nordic, who is located in Denmark, is responsible for monthly

reporting in general).

Deliver excellent project management and participate in the daily operation and service delivery

towards clients across all service lines in Project Management.

Expect a certain level of travelling across the Nordic region.

 

Person Specification/Requirements

10+ years of experience within CAPEX, Investor- or Project Management in the real estate industry

working with high profile clients within logistics, hotels & hospitality or corporate office.

You are probably engineer or architect and maybe you’ve held several positions at Director or Senior

Management level for many years and are now looking for a position where you can use all your

experience in project execution.

Strong networking skills and probably already have a strong network within the real estate sector in

Norway, and probably the rest of the Nordics, and have worked in an international environment and

performed projects across regions and borders.

Demonstrated strong communication and able to form strong and productive relationship at all levels

and possess the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

Vast experience in working on different sides in the project delivery cycle, Client Advisor, Client,

Technical advisor, Contractor.

Experience in Investment Advisory/PMO/Project Management/ Contract Administration roles in Real

Estate or Property and understand the client’s needs and expectations.

Knowledge of both theoretical and practical application of project management (e.g. Prince2).

You have long and diverse life experience which gives you the ability to prioritize and understand

what is important when a project gets hectic.

 

Language skills

Native Norwegian

English, business & technical, expert level

 

IT Technical Abilities

Technically literate

Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills

Experience of Microsoft Project or equivalent as well as Project toolsets
